Anyone who has ordered from us knows that we love to include free stickers in all our orders. We’re getting a little bored of our current designs, so we decided to host a sticker art competition.
Have a cool drawing, design, or idea you want to see printed and shared with other fungal folks? We would be honored to share your original artwork with our community in the form of super high-quality stickers!

Art Themes
We welcome art of any kind, especially if it’s fungal, but we also invite you to submit something that fits with one of three thematic prompts:
ROTPUNK
Gaia: for the love of Earth Mother
💩
Winners will be selected by ranked vote.
Each submission will be ranked based on each of the following criteria:
Originality
Artistry
Relevance to the theme(s)
Humor
Heart
Anyone can vote on the designs, but must be signed up for voting before the submission deadline. All artists automatically receive a voting invite. If you are not submitting work, but still want to vote on the designs, sign up here by October 12th to receive an invite.
Submission Guidelines
Up to 3 submissions per person.
Artist credit: if you would like to include a watermark, social media handle, website or other contact info, signature or artist credit, please incorporate it into the design.
Human-Created Artwork / No Generative AI. While generative AI has its place, this competition is intended to celebrate the creation of original human artwork. (The use of ordinary digital art tools is permitted, such as drawing tablets, illustration software, photo-editing software, vector software, digital brushes, filters, color correction, scanning, compositing, etc.)
Stickers will be printed up to 3 inches in any dimension. We recommend submitting images at least 300 dpi (900 pixels for a 3-inch sticker) in a CMYK color profile for best results. Preferred formats are .svg, .psd, .png and .tiff.
Stickers can be rectangular, square, circular, oval or any other custom shape. Custom shapes should have a border or some obvious way of knowing where to cut.
Submission via snail mail: if you’re not well-versed in digital media, you can submit original artwork via postal mail.
Please try to mail it in time to be received by the October 12th deadline if possible.
You must still fill out a submission form and sign the agreement using the button below.
We can mail the original back to you if requested.
Send it to:
Fungaia
PO Box 2534
Walla Walla, WA 99362
International submissions: we would love to receive artwork from anyone and everyone. However, due to the high cost of international shipping, contest winners outside of the United States will only be eligible for cash prizes.
Cash prizes, if selected, will be paid via CashApp.
Ready to enter?
After the submission deadline, we will compile all valid entries into a poll. Anyone who submitted artwork or signed up to vote will receive an invite. Once winners are selected, they will be notified by email and allowed to choose between physical or cash prizes.
All selected entries will be sent off for printing and featured on the Fungaia website and/or social media platforms, along with any provided artist statement, social media handles, website or contact information (if desired).
Our desire is to celebrate and highlight artists, not harvest free artwork. We’ll only use submitted art to run and celebrate the competition and, for selected designs, make the stickers themselves. We won’t sell the stickers for profit, and we won’t turn your work into shirts, merch, ads, or other products without coming back to you for permission and talking about additional compensation.
Shh! Hot goss…
This call for submissions is partly a dry run for a much bigger collaborative art project we’ve been cooking up for a long time: Fungaia, a cooperative fungal ecology tabletop strategy game! Artists who submit work to the sticker competition will get first dibs on the 200+ card art opportunities, and 100% of profits from the game will be distributed to the artists. Stay tuned… we’re hoping to formally announce early in the new year!

Looks like fun! I wish I had an iota of the talent you and your Dad have! I'll look forward to seeing the winners! Captain Blaggar...... you don't want my art! Maybe I'll sing a song!
